reinke Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 so as most of you know i have been trying to get my f150 louder. i have tried 2 12's subs and port forwad and downfired. 4 12's subs and port forward and down fired. 8 different 12's too. so, i ripped all the 12's out of my truck and ordered some 10 from ebay. they are duval sk-100's. for being a cheaper line 10 they are beafy little fuckers. i built a box a little over 2 cubes tuned to 38 hertz. subs and port firing up at the roof. i am using a crunch 1500.1 to power 2 of them. and sure as shit if these 2 10's are damn near as loud as 4 12's. so after building 7 different boxes for this truck i am gonna keep the 10's for the winter and before next season i am gonna do 2 15's fired at the roof. maybe then i can bassrace the 139 class.
