Chode69
ok...lets say hypothetically...one of my friends wants to get rid of his durango and get another pick up JUST like he used to have. but this time he wants to wall it off. he wants LOUD, LOW and MUSICAL!!! he wants to break 150 with 4 15s and around 4300 watts. but still beat with sounding good nothings official but hes out lookin for a new vehicle as of after this post. basically...can walls be musical and sound good and not meant to be strictly for SPL. kingsuv
Well...... Yes they can be musical. Every low tuned wall I have heard has a different sound then a non walled car. They got down..... But it sounds different. Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
jonathancullen89
IMO yes, i didnt build my wall for spl. it sounds excellent, it is tuned really low and isnt peaky at any certain frequency. everyone that has ridden in my car says it sounds excellent, like a concert. i even got props from my uncle by how good it sounds, and comming from him i know it must sound good. im not sure what i am hitting, i have a kicker ks1200.1 that does 1490wrms @2ohms and four 15" dc level 2. last time i got metered i did 143 with only three subs, a 1200watt cadence amp and a 1000watt sony amp. having only 3 subs the subs where unloading differently, and i only tuned the amps by ear the day of the comp. as of now with the single amp and all four subs it is way way louder then when i hit my 143.3. 1992 cavalier build 1992 blazer s10 kenwood cd hifonics hfi2500d 6 soon to be 12 12" hifonics hfi12d4's shit ton-o-wire Blurred Vision Audio Team SMD feedback/refs. clicky!-
01xtreme
Absolutely they can be musical. If you tune it low it will still be very musical. I have heard tons of walls, and most that have been tuned south of 35 Hz sound very musical to me. 00sdime00
Like Bill said...a low tuned wall has it's own sound. The impact of it is instantaneous. I personally love the sound of a well built wall. A 150 with a true 4300 watts RMS and 4 15's is very do-able..well, maybe not at 30hz ..FYI my wall will still do over a 150 with just 1 RF T4K A half-wit gave you a piece of his mind, and you held on to it. BigPimpin91
AssMan has always had musical machines. Not good for numbers, I mean BR a 155 isn't not a good number, but he isn't burping it at 63hz. It does that at a respectable frequency.
