Forevrbumpn
I never heard a DD I didnt like I just installed a and built a box for a 8" 1508, and it sounded damn good tuned to 35hz Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. Seen to many here burn and die. Also the tweeters are very bright being a titanium dome. But a custom component set with a DDW6.5, active crossover and some nice tweets (DLS maybe?) would sound sick. Those DDW6.5's are amazing. Quote 10.x volts fo' life!

audiofanaticz
I love my 9518s, they are build tough and keep playing. They scream for power no matter what you toss at them. First hair trick since I got the amps, not even fully tuned and subs are still plenty under powered. Here is just one sub one amp. And here is a dd on a wallsocket that just wouldnt die even after 10+ minutes of constant power free air style. http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=...ideoid=44270091 Opps fogot about the one car I helped build with 4 dd9512s and does well over a 150db (bassrace and burp) Edited October 9, 2008 by audiofanaticz

Moti
Same issue here I have been hearing mix things about DD's. Currently I am searching for a new woofer and I want something that is SQL, I don't know how correct DD's site is. But for the DD9500g's it says 'The 9500 'g' Series might be the ultimate woofer, hand assembled to the tightest tolerances in order to reproduce music as exact as possible, at whatever volume level you desire. ' All I want to know is if it can actually reproduce music as exact as possible with clarity.
