No he's not, when u run SLI u only can feed 1 monitor.

When he switch SLI off he can feed 4.

And it has nothing to do with how much ram u have.

And u say the OS use the "invisible" ram when it needs it, is :bsflag:

When u have an 32-bit OS, u can install 4GB, but windows 32-bit can only adress 4GB memory total.

Thats incl your video ram on your videocards.

So with his dual GTX cards, he will only see (and use) ~2,75GB in windows.

Yeah u beat me :P

I had something more to type ha

but SLI out and into a Matrox "triple head2go" should work great! I may do it! Ive got "dual head2go" on my work computer and its awesome. I use it for work related stuff only since this thing is not a gaming rig but for what i use it for it works great. Triples on a Alienware should be teh sex :)

so in other words, 4gb on vista 32 is still a waste.....in my case anyway since i have dual 8800gtx (768mb each).

well that sucks!

Then u have to switch to 64-bit, just as i did.

And it has nothing to do with yor videocards.

I stepped up from 2 to 4 gigs a few weeks ago because of the low prices right now, and didnt see any difference...
