kentb Posted October 10, 2008 Report Share Posted October 10, 2008 it is very rare for retailers to sell laptop video cards too. and video card is not always the size of memory. its on the GPU itself and the speed of memory. video card manufacters put large sizes of memories on entry level video cards just to trick consumers that it is fast. but the truth is, like the 8500gt, they use slow memory.
