World Finals In Sac

I know in 2007 there were more then 10 spectators and they paid to get in the door(course they were there to see steve). Ya in Lauglin you may be over, I would take the under on 10!

FWIW I SAY FUCK SAC! I will go any where on the west coast! Just not to where they are talking about.

Apparently Bill , Kimo and bassik, and probably Jeffery will be reppin the west cost for 09 Finals less then 10 competitors:(

The termpro folks will just say west coast has not to many real competitors

its not fuck this fuck that. if theres only one location for world finals and its in midwest who cares. to me wf was way over exxagerated. seemed to me like a reagular show. and what would happen if we had only one location and it was in california. how many midwest people do u think would actually show. thats the real question. you can argue this both ways . alot of the posters on this thread arent trying to help the situation. people just saying " its not gonna happen " how has that ever helped anything ever? thats what i wanna know. be positive, negative people never get anywhere in life.

i know personally myself i wont be able to afford to travel halfway across the country just for a show....if we cant have something here instead i would rather have just another "show" or something small even.... i know its alot of work to set something up like this and i know the east coast competitor/fan base is larger but for us to be expected to travel so far just to show isnt fair imo...and obviously i havnt been to a wf but i will be going this year if its close

It is very simple, we have west coast finals here. End of story, no drama about it or anything, and it is all good.

^^^^^ X2. If we cant have a world finals in Sac, we atleast need to have just the WEST COAST FINALE. Try to get DC or Diablo Technologies, or any other company local to the people in sacramento to make a contribution for give aways. Have our raffles, and other means to make money to give away. And then the people that want to go to WORLD FINALS they can travel to Indy and have at it.

I am not saying f*ck this and F*ck that.. I am just saying lets do what we can. and if we cant get world finals here, atelast we tried. If tehre was a cheap place to hold it Northern Nevada I say lets do it. But everyone is worried about the altitude, and loosing 2 db. I would rather lose 2 db on world finals, then have to travel to indy.. But thats my .02 .. Take it or leave it.

Fredy Gonzales and I were working on the details last night as a matter of fact currently it looks like Aug.29 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno. we are working out details for rooms and a concert afterwords.
