All's I've heard is they have some electrical problems... For some reason I was thinking that they do, but maybe I'm thinking of the Golf. That is the G60 u are talking about. It is a 1.8 4-cil with a G-loader, compressor in normal talk. For some reason I was thinking that they do, but maybe I'm thinking of the Golf. they do now, they didnt in 1988. the older 1.8 16v is a better engine from what i understand. 87- 90 id be happy with one of those yrs with a 1.8 16v.
