Derrick824
Sounds like a great sub especially for the money. Let me know when you have a 15" so I can try one out.
sundownz
I think thats a pretty good review, minus the single 8ohm config... lol But 500-1800watts on a 2.5" coil is damn good cant wait to see these bad boys We built a top plate for my SPL box at lunch, going to try it in there too. It did get a little smelly after the 1800-watt adventure But it is just fine. A 600-watt RMS music rating is EASY for this driver... I was using sine wave material which held the power pretty well constantly. sundownz
178 volts / 9.5 amps clamped peak... 9.4 ohms per amp calculated... 1691 watts. Can't get any more juice than that at 50 Hz in my SPL box. The woofer was NOT showing any signs of mechanical strain @ the 50 Hz burp frequency in this box -- the sub has more in it and, for that matter, should probably be in a smaller box as this is my 15" woofer SPL box So I am very pleased with it. 145.2 dB score in the SPL box. I kept playing it for a while at the same level... probably a few minutes. Still no issues with the sub. Airborne
I like how they call it "entry level" when it is built better and stronger than a lot of "other" companies top of the line. I can't wait for income tax time!

sundownz
The top plate has a gap on it as I used some neoprene foam as a gasket since it is just temporary. Forevrbumpn
any word when this will hit the market yet Jacob? Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
