Charger
Don't get too caught up on numbers, as long as it sounds loud and you're happy with its sound. bman8891
X2. All that really matters is that you're happy with it. I've been through so many different setups in the past year man I know it can get frustrating. I had a single DD3515 in the trunk of a civic doing 145, dropped 6 grand, swapped it out for 2 DD9515 in the back seat area, doubled the amps, doubled the battery, and dropped to a 142. SPL is tricky dude

flashlight_65
its pretty loud. but im still looking for more output. the thing is i dont know what any other numbers sound/feel like. every set up ive had was pretty decent in terms of being louder than others around me so i dont have anyone to compare to. and there havent been any shows or contests to expirience some banging setups. but its my foundation after i finish the the other stuff we'll see what the outcome will be. Boon
my old set up sounded like mid 140's but only meter 135.1 @49hz sealed it was a trunk car to How did it 'sound like mid 140's' but only do 135? Have you ever heard a 145dB car? 145dB, to me, is about the limit of what you can drive with. It's around the point that your eyes start to vibrate and it's hard to see. I don't know how 135dB can sound like mid 140's. It's perceived as half as loud anyway. 10.x volts fo' life!
flashlight_65
so i went in for a second time to see what the caddy can do since the last time. i upgraded the front battery to a yellowtop, hooked up the deka in the trunk and replaced the mighty power acoustik 3000d with a crunch gp3000 and hit 141.2 sealed at 34hz. it sounds great but i still crave more. i think im gonna buy an suv when i come back from deployment.
