Just curious, Iam not a Amp man, but if it draws MAX 180 amps, Iam assuming that formula is ONLY for MAX wattage, not rms? But yeah, I know the whole voltxamp=wattage formulas, ect. Just butting in about the birth sheets, and the formula, and efficiencys, are they all rateing thier amps at max, or rms?  That does matter day and night.

Also, a few days ago I mentioned the birth sheet of a t2000bd amp or something saying 3500watts, that is hear say from a friend. I have tho installed a few of the newer style RF amps at the last shop I worked at, and on those 4channel 200x4 ( dunno the model) the birth sheet on that thing said "All channels driven 2200watts" or somethin, pretty good for a 4channel,  There were 2 of those amps running 6-6x9s per door x4 (customers choice- in a Lincoln Navigator), and boy did it scream, and yeah he was replacing them 6x9s often.

I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

those fosgate 4 channels arent putting out 2200 watts though we all know that, most comps arent handle 550 watts.  just like that 3500 on that t2k was kinda a bull reading,  my T4k was only 4500 yea its good but its not 1500 over what it should be

You said it there, your not an amp man so dont try and argue.

Of course its rms, and plus, they did those ratings at 13 volts.  at 14.4 volts, that amp would do at least its rated 2300rms.

I was told that the amp was rated at 14.4.  Not going to argue anymore.  To the original poster, I've used the Power Acoustik A3000 in numerous installations and you'll love it, I just highly recommend going with two per 18" BTL.

lets see the actual email. that doesnt look to professional. and match that amperage with the voltage and you dont get 2300.
