Recommended Posts

yea i could run 2 9518's but they are rated 1500 rms, and i will have about 4000x2 on tap....i was thinking btl's, or possibly ascendant audio.

btl's are only ratyed at 2krms people just think they need 4k on each

T3 tsns has my eye. but now im considering rebuilding my aura hybrids with dual 2 ohm coils, and a high roll suround, i dont think anyone has ever put more than 1500watts on a neo radial aura motor, but its going to suck to rebuild my subs and have them not able to take the power :S

i hooked up my goliath xxv to one of my btl's and it seemed happy with the power(5k @ 1ohm, but im sure its not getting that full 5k), i turned it up as much as it can go without the clip light going on and it didn't get hot or anything. as long as its a clean signal you'll be fine.

There is NO sub that can take 4000 CLEAN watts all day for extended periods of time and not get hot, or smell, or anything.

Some of the loudest subs that can take the most power have been mentioned here.

1. FI BTL - I give 5000 watts each

2. DD 9500's - can handle lotas of power

3. T3 Audio subs handle lots of power

4. LMS Ultra - handle lots of power - may be very diffucult to get.

5. DC Audio Level 5

The DD Audio 99Z might be a contender. I remember just my plain 99s laughing at big power.
