NotoriouslyLoud
kickers are great for spl, just check what the guys in USACi are using then check out at all the wins team kicker has. Kicker is great for spl and does great in the spl org's but you have to know how to build for them. How would go dd for sure if this build is just for spl. Like said above they are bulletproof and hold lots of db drag records. Andrew2944r
Depending on your set up you could do an 150 easy with 1 - 15 and a 3 - 4k watt amp if your looking just for SPL only. To many diffrent factors come into play IE: type of vehicle, box design and so on. Quote Team Ampere Audio
Mosin
Alma did use Kicker woofers. If I'm not mistaken a bunch if 10" L7 Alma Gates edition woofers were used?? I may be wrong though. Kicker isn't a strictly SPL brand. IMO whoever told you Kicker wasn't good for SPL is wrong. I'm sure they they are just jealous of what you have. Doesn't The Big Oki run/ran Sony Xplod woofers and metered pretty good. Just depends on your build,,, To answer your question a Solo X would be good for your SPL needs... I'm sure with your 4 CVX's you could attain 150db. Just depends on your enclosure. Edited January 7, 2009 by solo_x18 Quote Derp.
Derrick824
Kicker can do fine for spl. The CVXs are good subs. Get yourself a nice ported box & put some power to those subs and you'll be happy.
