mrafrica Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 whats the actual MM of the wire though? that would be how to tell IMO. doesnt rockford have the largest? stands can be big or they can be made small. so i wouldnt go just based on that Quote And far as the best connection ever....... get a huge fucking battery, cut the top off, drop an alt in there and then pour all that into your big amplifier. or just smelt them all together.
Derrick824 Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 Knukonceptz Kollosus is the biggest 1/0awg wire. Yes it's bigger than Rockford 1/0awg. Quote

You can only make a 0 guage cable so big before it's not really 0 guage anymore. The RF and Knu Colussus cable are both pushing the limits of being 0 guage themselves. The Kicker and Stinger cable are more true 0 guage and the RF and Knu are more like 1.5/0 guage if that makes any sense. The cable is measured by it's diameter and each of those companies are very large for 0 guage standards. Andrew2944r Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 (edited) Well I ordered 25 foot of Knuconcpetz Kolossus Fleks Kable 1/0 Blue Power to run a ground with, I ordered it to actually compare to the Kicker Hyper Flex just out of curiosity. My findings Kicker HyperFlex is bigger wire even though knu supposedly has more strand count. I can take some pictures for who that wants them and post it so you can make your own judgement... Andrew2944r Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Pictures are a bit hard to tell actual size but you can see it side by side Kicker is bigger in wire size and case. Quote Team Ampere Audio
David Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 and as previously stated, strands counts dont matter as much as the actual size of the wire. um your wrong strand count has everything to do with it, electricity flows on the wire not through it. Quote
