Airborne Posted January 14, 2009 Report Share Posted January 14, 2009 If it is a common chamber and one fails the box just got huge for one sub (assuming you are like most of us who can't just go out a replace a sub on a whim) and separate chambers make it easier for the monetarily challenged like my self to keep bumpin 'till the wallet(enter wife) let's me replace the quitter. sundownz Posted January 14, 2009 Report Share Posted January 14, 2009 If maximum SPL is your concern dB Drag guys testing seem to indicate that common chamber is nearly always louder - but not necessarily by a large amount, in the tenths.
