Torres
http://shop.ebay.com/items/?_nkw=w203+bypa...s&_osacat=0 there might be ways to just wire em up...but it'd be a pain and a hassle imo
kingsuv
It's not a simple ground. You need to trigger 1, latch trigger 2, and then release trigger 1. It's a On - Hold - Off effect A PAC TR-7 is the simple way to do it. It even covers it in the instructions. Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

I think the PAC even comes preprogrammed for the Alpine bypass, if not, the instructions tell you how to do it in like 5 minutes. pstone11
Yup - it's preprogrammed... unless they changed the way they set them up in the last year or so.. kingsuv
The newer version corrects the resistance issues with some older decks as well as being much smaller. It still has the same programing. Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Torres
the easiest brand to bypass that i've used is kenwood. just put the green wire to a spot in my fuse box. my pioneer unit needed some soldering on the head unit. the alpine is the first one i've owned...and at the time i couldnt understand what to do so i never did it

Don't try to half-ass it, just get the PAC and call it a day Quote Check out StoneSounds to see my recent builds.Or look at the Flying White Facebook Page! 11BangBang
I have the 505, right now I did it hood style. One wire to from toggle to ground, and then another toggle on a 12v constant. You just have to flip 12v, flip grpung and then flip 12v again. It works till you get the PAC7 Quote 2001 Tahoe Alpine IVA-W505 2 OPTIMA's RED/YELLOW DUAL ALTs 140/220 (2) HIFONICS BXI1280D (1) HIFONICS ZXI6408 (4) ALPINE SPR-13S 5.25 (4) ALPINE SPR-17S 6.5 (2) KICKER 15L7 at 1 ohm 4.5 CUBIC@38HZ
