So all you did for tail light prep was clean really good? Same with in between coats? I'm surprised they turned out that good.

And aslo, how thick/thin of a coat did you spray for each coat? I've had some niteshade stuff to do my tail lights with and just haven't made time to do it yet.

I've been talking to ... about subs, I'll be sending money for a couple weeks until I have enough for all 6 then I'll go pick them up so I'm getting there

and the right one turned out like I wanted because it was just paint, let dry, wet sand, paint let dry, clear

the left one was an experiment because my buddy said if you shoot clear coat over it, they will get smoked because thats what he did with his

the clear ended up bubbling so we just shot black over it and it still blacked them out but the texture doesn't look good

but on the right one I sprayed even across the whole thing on the first coat until I couldn't see the lens anymore

kasey did you wet sand the lenses? may help with the bubbling. I'm not sure though just a novice at this painting stuff.
