new alarm.

if the current alarm doesn't have those features, an "upgraded" remote won't work.

please correct me if i'm wrong.

I think DEI makes an add on pager, but no screen or anything, just beeps when the alarm goes off.

If you are already planning on a new alarm, then you can get what you want....screen/pager remote.

yeah...im planing on getting a new one but can please someone prove eric wrong lol

He is correct.

The alarms with pagers are two way alarm brains, they have to send and receive info to/from the remote. They are a different brain from a regular alarm.

Yep, just wait and get a whole new model.

What are you looking for in a alarm/or do you know what you want already?

i dont know what i want already, i was looking at some at pacific audio pretty good prices, but i just want it if my alarm goes off so i have it on the pager because i usually park my car far away at school and specially from like 3to7 its dark and i have a lot of audio in my car i would rather spend 200 300 on a good alarm rather then 2000 on all new screens subs amps. etc. u feel? but im still looking feel free to throw some suggestion out there
