BassAddict32 Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 i know it means over-heating. is there a way i can get past it without sending it back???? i've heard of using intercoolers but microsoft doesn't put them out and i've heard stories of them short circuiting. if microsoft sees the burn marks where it short circuits, they won't repair it. my warranty is already up, so i don't feel like paying $100 to get it fixed. can anyone help?? 1994 Ford F150 reg cab 2 HFX 12's Audiopipe APSM-1300

BJD3 Posted March 18, 2009 Report Posted March 18, 2009 DO NOT get one of those "intercooler" things. They do more harm than good. Read this. Guy seems to know what he's talking about. ScoreHero Not sure how much that will help since you're already experiencing overheating issues, but you may be able to minimize the damage. Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above. Don't take it personally, I'm just abrasive. 2002 Buick Park Avenue DC Level 4 M2 12 D2 Car Audio Bargain 1600.1 Eclipse CD3200 ~2 cubes @ 34 hz. Stinger Roadkill Expert

Yah the intercooler is a waste... i put these in my xbox after fixing it... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=110341250143 The tests I saw showed they work, and the modding community praises them. They actually blow air on the two heatsinks(GPU and CPU, GPU is what normally causes the RROD) that microsoft fucked up on and didn't put a fan there. -Installer for Duke's Car Stereo 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix - Ported Eaton M90 S/C, 3.5" pulley, XS Power Headers, 1.9 Rockers, FWI, Poly Motor Mounts, Custom Tune.
