FreelandKustomz
I am yet to get my hands on DC subs to give an honest oppinion. you can blow a sub easier under powering it with a dirty signal than over powering it. And yes alot of DD's get blown due to people getting over zealous with the power. as far as coils go is that the G motor ??? This is like Arguing whats better, scotch or whiskey. everyone has thier own flavor. thats what makes bass competitions so interesting. Id love to compare something equal to a 3500 from DC. put them in an SPL enclosure, a low tuned box, and a transmission line for sound quality. Nightshade
This topic shouldn't even be debatable. If DC subs were louder they would be in the worlds loudest vehicles. The FACT is that DD subs are much louder in almost every application. There may be a few instances where a DC sub is louder, but if that person knows what they're doing I'm sure that the DD woofer is going to be the one on top. Too bad Steve Milton doesn't come on here so he can defend his product against all the DC fanboys. Cause I guarentee he'd put some of you in your place. The pic of the voice coils means nothing other than a round wire coil in the DD subs is still louder than the flat wire coil in the xl's. Not to mention that the Z will pretty much destroy any woofer in the market today. I had a pair of 9910Z's. did a drop in test against the 9500 in a street application, the z's were down exactly 1 db, so you cant say the z is better than everything out there, even you know every application is diffrent. People can argue all they want about whats better but really it all depends on the application. DC AUDIO Phone Number 1(855)SPL-DBZZ Built by Competitors, for Competitors.
