eliassami5
I liked my brad nailer when building boxes...untill my bro nailed me in the fuckin finger when we were doing a project together!!! LOL anyway...i only use the nailer to hold the wood together till i can pre dill the holes and screw the two pieces together. I just feel like the nails or even the glue isnt strong enough on its own, plus the screws pull everything together and make it all really nice and tight. And sometimes the brads will hit a hard piece in the center of the MDF and go off course and exit the side of the wood, wont look too good if you plan on painting you'r box. But it all depends on the person, some ppl ok are with just using their nailer and glue and others arent. But either way it's a good investment because i find much more uses for my nailer than just building boxes lol. 91' Jeep Cherokee - The Heep Just Empty Every Pocket 96' Volvo 960 - The B◘x [sPL_4_U] HiFonics - Alpine Pioneer - Clarion Infinity - Kicker KnuKonceptz

I will never build an enclosure with out useing screws. While the glue joint is really strong, the MDF can easily split into layers without the extra strength to hold everything together. Extra time during the assembly could save major problems down the road. "I don't bullshit. JustinT
Yeah definitely get a brad nail. Much cleaner than countersunk screws and a router doesn't have a problem with them. Also it cut down the time to build my box to a 1/3 of what it used to take countersinking and drilling screws. Here it the one I got...
