Ram
So Im going to downgrade my system. Im not going to go for lound as much as im going to be going for looks. My current system is in my sig, so I will be downgrading to either: 4 Sundown E8s Sundown 1500.1 Sundown 100.4 OR 1 Fi SSD 18" Diablo Hellfire 1000.1 Diablo Hellrazor 4125 Im trying to get rid of EVERYTHING and restart again. Would it be beneifical to keep the 0guage I have ran or would 4guage be sufficient? Also, would fiberglassed boxes be enough for the subs, or would birch be the way to go again? Thanks. siucsaluki11
Idk why so may people use birch. Im a cheap ass, i stick to MDF, lol. I would agree with cracker, keep the 0 ga. If you already payed for it, and already installed it, leave it. This way if you do decide someday you wanna go big again, the power wire is already there. bangin_explorer
i would go the 4 e8's route personally. but honestly you can't go wrong either way IMO. i personally like seeing more than one sub (since you want the "looks") and the 4 e8's will still get ya pretty loud off that 1500d. Duvanator
i second the 8's. if your going for looks, 4 little 8's wangin away is more impressive then a single sub Quote head unit - Panasonic MXE CQ-C7403U amp - Cerwin-Vega EXL 1200D subs - (x2) Cerwin Vega V-MAX 15.4 box - 5.8 ^3 at 32hz spkrs- Phoenix Gold Rsd Comps
raytard
did noone notice the fact that an 18 is relatively uncommon? i think that would be more impressive. the box would be 2-3 times the size though, so idk about making it pretty, it kinda limits your options Quote Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC
