Kapetol T Posted April 8, 2009 Report Share Posted April 8, 2009 There would be a significant advantage to run your speakers of regular DC car audio amps. All amps use DC current, so your dj amps have a converter which takes the AC from your wall puts out a DC current for the amp. When you use those in your car you are converting the DC from the battery to AC through the invertors, then BACK to DC inside your amps through the converter. This results in a huge loss in power.
