the reason i voted for obama is because he actually talked about solving issues he didnt talk about why McCain was wrong he talked about what he would do in this situation to get us where we needed to be. i voted for obama because i wanted a president that i didnt have to always watch the news to make sure he wasnt doing some corrupt shit, i wanted a president that i knew could make the right decisions even without years of experience. obama is a very intelligent man but i dont care if you know all the information in the world you cant fix this situation were in in 4 months he needs time, these kinds of things dont change overnight give the man a damn break. i mean could it really be any worse off then GW left us. we had a man that coud barley enunciate wen speaking to america for 8 years and were gonna start complaining now? and didnt obama just drop the ban on weapons?

i agree. this is one of the significant reason i voted for obama. he's was the person who took the initiative to explain what he would do if he got into office, why it would be a smart choice to vote him into office, etc... all i heard from McCain was why Obama would be bad... and him boasting about his army experience. every question about anything that matter he would try and change the subject... i remember, when i didn't know who i was going to vote for, i happen to find a show where McCain was being interviewed. when being ask regular questions such as how are you doing, hows the campaign going etc, he was fine, making joke being personable. then they started asking him prevent questions about out economy, serious deabate issues, and i saw him start to get flustered. i was like w/e, not a big deal, no1's perfect, and he might not be prepair for some of the questions. then the interviewer asked him how many homes he owned. he said ill have my staff get back to you...

i was like what? its either he's being a jerk, and doesn't want to tell america how many house he has, b/c they think that how cant he know what were going though, if you have that many homes. or he really doesnt know how many house he has, b/c he has so many. either way it was a lose lose situation but blunders like this (which he had alot of during his campaign), coupled w/ him never showing any signs of being able to lead, or cope w/ adversity... FORCED ME to vote for Obama

to be 100% honest, b4 the election b/t obama and mccain i wante to vote for Mccain, b/c i knew our economy was fucked up, and the next president had alot on his plate. i didnt want the 1st so called "black" president to stuggle, od do a bad job in office, b/c he sets the standard/bias of what other will think about future black presidential candidates... But MCCAIN was literally retarded and i could not bring myself to vote for him.

95% of the "black vote is always Dem. More of that particular segment voted this time around but I think generalizations about the why are a stretch.

Obama is not going to take your guns away. He even said himself that he is not considering a new asault weapons ban. The internet rumors are mostly made up. You have to realize that most of the so called experts are full of it. Hanity is no economy expert, hell El Rushbo makes most of the shit up that comes out of his mouth.

The current tax code is the result of the Bush Administration. Any changes made in the last ten years were made by his people. Where were these so-called "concerned citizens" then? It always amazes me how easy it is for the media (yep, the overwhelmingly right wing talk radio circut) to scare the shit out of people with ZERO PROOF. It is all speculation, and if you remember correctly these exact same "speculators" caused the financial collapse.

Despite what you lefties say, it's not about race. Obama did nothing more than make good speeches. He fooled the general population into thinking he had all these great ideas when in actuality his ONLY stance was "whatever Bush did, I'll do the opposite".

Let me throw out just one example of the kind of things that piss me off about this administration. Obama made such a big deal about how "transparent" his presidency was. So when he flubbed the swearing in ceremony, he secretly re did it in some back hall and when one of the white house press corps asked him about it, he threw a little tantrum and scolded the reporter. Now I know this is hardly a big deal but this was MINUTES INTO HIS TERM. And the list of his duplicity is growing but because of the liberal media, none of you have a clue as to the road you have put us on.

And Airborne, here's how it went....Carter damn near destroyed this nation.....Reagan fixed it.....Clinton rode on the coat tails of the tech boom, then got a BJ from a fat intern....Bush , barely in office, had to deal with the worst terror attack in the history of the world....And now Obamination is bowing to Muslim kings and shaking hands with socialist dictators.

Where were all of these bullshit calls for a transparent government when EVERY time a Bush administration official was called to testify about the very offenses Bush said he would fire a mofo for? Karl rove should be in prison for outing a covert CIA operative. He and eight faced Chaney need to be held accountable. Executive Privilege was the Bush administrations way of telling you and me that the entire constitution was toilet paper.

I love having to keep hear the "just give him a chance" argument.

Imagine if stupid people had to pay for their handicap, if stupidity cost. That saying, for those who voted obama to put their money where their mouth is and play the election like a poker game. No one knows the 100% outcome of the game, but I guarantee you the guy with a straight flush in his hand can be pretty confident that he's going to be victorious at the end of the game.

In political terms I mean, say that when you voted on the president this recent election that you were BETTING your own money that you were for certain that your candidate was going to do better than the opposing candidate. So that at the end of the elected presidents term, if he fucked up the country those that voted his dumbass into office would have to pay higher taxes, while those who voted against him would have lower taxes.

Eventually, people would either learn to be smarter, or if they were beyond saving from stupidity they would just starve of their own account. Either way we would eventually eliminate the population of idiots, have less pollution, and the world would be a much better place. So to wrap up my argument, stupidity should cost. On terms of our recent election, over half of our population should be glad that it doesn't.

And for all of you arguing "well if obama was such a bad choice why did he win the majority of everyone's votes?" Well how do I put this but, if any of you haven't noticed lately our country consists of way more idiots than the opposing half of non ignorant citizens. If the fact that the majority is smarter than the minority, then why is it that we had only 1 Albert Einstein and billions of nobodies?
