slugdub Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 Very cool thread. I have those skullcandy ones that I use on rare occasion. I agree, the have great bass and sturdy wiring. I usually sleep with my iPod on everynight (I'm a freak) so I use a pair of $1.50 WALMART ones because they always end up breaking. I've thought of trying the Skullcandy ones, but really don't want to wear em out. I would like to see how those Smokin' Buds by SC stack up against these.

Torres Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 my skull candy earbuds had the problem with one being louder than the other. started off fine, then one day one side got really quiet. but at 10-15 bucks i just bought another pair. so far so good now.

I mainly use them on stage but they sound great with any source. Around $1150 plus the trip to the ear mold specialist. I use them with the Shure psm-700 wireless system and a Rane in ear processor. JPagan Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 You should try some v-moda bass freq earbuds. I have had mine for a few months now and are still great. They haver really good bass response along with mids and highs. I got them on Amazon for 25 dollars.
