white4d96
'cause I cant tell if my amp is clipping or not, the subs kinda make a subtle "pulse-y" noise at super low tones (maybe cuz they're only tens?), but they don't do anything like that...can I assume that's safe? Too many projects, too little time...
slugdub
I do not know much about clipping. I know Steve had said something about how he tested tons of stereos lately and none are even capable of clipping. So... not sure what that means when you figure in an amp with input sensitivity, but my amp has a clipping light that I guess is supposed to go off to warn me? You don't have anything like that? LOL, the noobs following the noobs here.

He said that a lot of H/U 's don't clip until they are almost maxed out.Example: is you're H/U goes to volume 63 ti wouldn't clip at volume 58 or 59, so almost maxed out. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
