bjfails Posted April 25, 2009 Author Report Posted April 25, 2009 no offence but I dont see that breaking a 150 sealed on the dash on the TL150 is a tough number in a trunk car None taken, and yes 150 is very rough to get. USACi is at kick though not dash. And like said my mic may be off, we'll see he was barley showin just over 150 like 150.3 if remeber right. I'm going to change amp out of his ride to a Massive d5000 I think that will be a good match with the subs he's runnin. Also still have to get some batts in for him. All good things come with time. Loudcav Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 out of mine I got a 147.7 @43hz sundown 3k at 1/2 ohm and some beat up mojo 12s that was sealed on the dash tho Im sure with a bit of testing I could of been real close to the 150 in the kick

The peak freq in his car is 49hz that is what I found and tuned new box to that. Also in Usaci they can have the door wide open and fan it which is going to add a db or two in itself as well.On another note my team captain used to have a Cavy and it was the world's loudest trunk Cavy. He was able to do a 153 on the dash sealed out of the trunk with the seat up on 12 volts at 43hz!!! That's right I said on 12 volts with the seat up! He did over a 156 in the kick. Wow you said the other install was not up to YOUR Standards but THIS is? Wow Sorry but that is plain wrong man.
