and quit dissin on my Alienware purchase, i got a FAT ASS bonus that year as well as just finishin a ride for chicken so i had plenty of money on hand......a brotha gets TIRED of building PC's and workin on them all the time and i just wanted to treat myself. Its really not that big of a deal, i got (at the time) parts that were BARELY if not NOT even on the market yet and reallly got top of the line EVERYTHING, the same as if i was gonna build it, but without the building part. Sometimes, like a car, instead of working on it every day, you just wanna buy it and drive the SOB

anyway, ill never drop $6,000 on a tower again i know that........it was a once in a lifetime event for me and TTYT, i played my 360 100x more then my top of the line gamer-machine (at the time it was T.O.T.L anyway)

to me, PC's are a rip off no matter what.....you can easily spend that same 6 grand and build it yourself and at the end of the day, my $400 Ps3 and $400 360 are neck and neck if not BETTER at most games.....i mean, for example, if i cracked open GRID PC and it looked at least similar to the 360 version, i would be SUPER happy - same with madden and NBA games......

yet i STILL upgrade and have for years LOL.....

I have a 8800GTX and im about to get rid of mine. Great cards, but my room get way to hot, because of my video card. There very nice cards the 285's. I wanna see a 3Dmark06 on your machine.

oh, before you go "WHAT!! 6 fucking grand i coulda done it for $1000"........i hear that alll the time dont go there, i had Two $650 Graphics cards SLI, the board to run it aint cheap, the 1000w p/s was the biggest out there at the time, a $1100 CPU, 7.1 sound with fiberoptic out, lots of ram, Vista (was newer then new), watercooled, 2 DVD burners (best ones they had at the time), Raptor 10,000rpm HD's, 2 year warranty with support, lighting and whatever else i cant think of - so ya, of COURSE i spent a little to have them make it but i could easily spend close that much just shoppin around and building it.

if your a new-egger, you could of course save some dough too but even then if you buy shit that JUST hit the market this week, your gonna get robbed no matter how you look at it LOL. Makes me sick to see a $1100 chip go for $100 6 months later If you HAVE to have ithe latest and greatest though, you will have to pay - wait a few and save, we all know that

called em.....thats a big negative. If it was boxed retail then MAYYYYYBE but it was part of my Alienware and they are my warranty holders ( i should say WERE FTL)

those cards are beasts. i'm still chillin with the PC i made about a year or a year and a half ago. it's hangin in there but i wanna upgrade REAL bad. but no funds right now. good purchase
