anybody got a recommendation of a good line driver? Heard good things about the phoenix gold ones....

The Phoenix Gold units are quite nice or if you have the extra cash the Audiocontrol Matrix would be the better way to go. It is much more flexible should you need to change things around in the system down the road sometime.

the issue is this, you need to look for an line driver with mutiple pre outs to control your multitude of amps, eq with built in line driver is probably your best bet...I think the maxxlink would be a great choice, they can had for cheap, they control 5amps and they have tons of options on it for fine tuning.

No... the higher the output RCA voltage the less system noise. A line driver can only help.
