Ben Building
You have more space inside your enclosure with them inverted; but, other than that, virtually no difference. You may hear a little noise from the pole vent with them inverted though.
Sampsonite
Larger enclosure.. Less cone area. Both usually too small of a difference to notice Quote --Sampson 816-591-6592 www.kcrimshop.com
mr.p
in all the builds ive done thusfar, ive run inverted to save enclosure space, and when your trying to jam 18's in 4 cu. ft., if you run them normal you get like 3.8 per sub, it can really make a difference. rusty959
how is it less cone area? sure you have the little bit where the cone mounts to the spider not on the outside of the box but it is now internal? so isn't it just a shift in where the cone area is? Hmm... ive never actually thought about that before... DHFHades
seems to me it would be the same amount of cone area, just switch of what part is inside the box, and what is outside Quote 1990 Jeep Cherokee 4X4 Pioneer DEH-P2900MP, Big 3 done in 1/0, 1 run 1/0 ran to amp DAT HF1000.1 #007 powering a DC lvl4 15 DAT HR 4085 prototype powering 2 Selenium 6s and 2 no name tweeters running active 1st place in AS3 @ Surf City Sound Off, 140.8 @ 45hz @ the headrest. rebuild coming soon to get a better score "I regard the brain as a computer which will stop working when its components fail.
