K I got 4 powerbass m12s and I have em all inverted(vid comin soon)....I jus wanted to know if I wer to turn em around would it make a difference ???

1/0G all around

optima yellowtop up front

kinetik 2400 in the back

Powerbass XA3000d sub amp

2 MTX 9500 12s, single 4 ohm vc

(so only doing about 2200w)

8awg wire for the subs

in all the builds ive done thusfar, ive run inverted to save enclosure space, and when your trying to jam 18's in 4 cu. ft., if you run them normal you get like 3.8 per sub, it can really make a difference.

how is it less cone area? sure you have the little bit where the cone mounts to the spider not on the outside of the box but it is now internal? so isn't it just a shift in where the cone area is? Hmm... ive never actually thought about that before...

seems to me it would be the same amount of cone area, just switch of what part is inside the box, and what is outside

You have more space inside your enclosure with them inverted; but, other than that, virtually no difference.

You may hear a little noise from the pole vent with them inverted though.

i think because of this reason it should be alil louder, depending on how big the back side of your sub is.
