if you went around downtown chicago with a bullhorn singing "girls just wanna have fun," not only would i kick u in ur nuts... lol... u could get amplified sound over 75ft or disorderly conduct

I think the "Amlified Sound" law is everywhere (I got a ticket for that in CA), but I think it really depends on how the cop is acting or if you piss the cop off, cuz I've heard of people that only have their stock speaker getting tickets for that. So pretty much the only way to avoid that ticket really is not to test out the law.

Hence bumping on highways, back country roads and the interstate.

Down town, ESPECIALLY in a residential area is not EVER EVER a good idea!!!!

Over 50ft actually but yea...

its 75 db in day and 65 at night from 100 feet where i live

Team S.M.D.

Maritime Car Audio- (2) 18" SSA ZCON D1

- American Bass 500.1

- 60 ft of 3/0

-480 Ah of battery

- (2) stock alternators (70 +90)

- Kenwood Excelon x-794, 4v preouts

car audio is just a LOT more complicated than "this amp does this power" or "this sub will be this loud". its like 2 + 2 = banana. (if that confuses you then you get the point) lol

Sound audible 25 or more feet from the car is ticketable where I live, sound where the cop deems it as loud is impoundable at 25 feet.

My town SUCKS.

*New vehicle and system coming soon.*
