andym85
i think you would be fine, as long as you didnt do any hard bumpin with the car off Quote i likes me some audio stuff...
civichatch
Ya it will be fine. As long as you have the car running wen bumping there should be no problems. But a high output car audio battery would still be lots better. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
zaxfire69
Yeah regular batteries do work. The only problem with them is that they have acid in them and if not vented to the outside properly can cause you lots of trouble...They can't be put on there sides, correct me if I'm wrong..I mean do you guys remember back in the OLD DAYS, back before Optima and Kinectic were mainstream car audio batterys..Everyone used them..I just would recommend that if you do MAKE SURE that you have a sealed storage compartment that is properly vented to the outside of the car...So you won't die of noxious acid fumes..Personnaly I think you outta just splurge and spend 40 more dollars and get a Kinetic battery..Walmart charges around 40-50 dollars for a battery if I'm not mistaken..Could be cheaper..After buying all the stuff to seal Everstarts off you will still be cheaper buying the kinetic...Just my 2 cents
Chris
Good thread. I'd still opt for the HO kinetik though for a lil mo' dough.
