basshead4life
holy crap everybodys buying all the expensive mids. all i can afford is the $25 a pair nextar's at canadian tire they still get loud off the H/U Quote Team S.M.D. Maritime Car Audio- (2) 18" SSA ZCON D1 - American Bass 500.1 - 60 ft of 3/0 -480 Ah of battery - (2) stock alternators (70 +90) - Kenwood Excelon x-794, 4v preouts car audio is just a LOT more complicated than "this amp does this power" or "this sub will be this loud". its like 2 + 2 = banana. (if that confuses you then you get the point) lol
DGold
Look's like im going to settle and get those t162 components. Before I buy was wondering if anyone else had any other suggestions. Budget is around 150 a set, being those RF's are that. I plan on running 100w RMS to each speakers. The size in my car are 6 3/4 but should have no trouble getting 6.5's in aslong as the mounting depth is big enough. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_19564_...r+T1652-S.html# But based on looks, I think these are superior. Not sure if there's much difference, just checked out the cone materials and RMS http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3144_R...ower+T162S.html Quote Old Setup 03 DurangoRF Power T1 6.5 CompsMids/Highs Amp: AQ4x90Sub Amp: AQ 3500.1DSubs: 2 DC XL 18sBox: 12ft^3 tuned to 33HzMechman 270 Amp AltXS 6500XS 3100 x2 Highest Score to date: 151.2 db @ Headrest
