sound xtreme
first secret, is have tons of money for the neccessary equipment. Second, be prepared and willing for the bass to rip apart your vehicle. There are a couple guys that can bass race a 160 with a couple of 18's, but for the most part, we all have multiple woofers setups. As you can see in my sig, I have alot of equipment to get me there, but what you dont see is the 3 months to build with several people to help out. The 18 sheets of MDF and a few sheets of Steel Wood. Another thing to you dont wanna forget, is your vehicle suspension, your gonna spend some money there, i have spent about $600 so far and its still not to where I want it. I wish you all the luck, and there better be a build log Quote 1997 Astro front:6 sets of T3 componets Subs: 8 level 5 18"s (building 6th order BP) Amps: 4 really big ones (totalling just shy of 50K) Batts: Alt: Ohio Generator 1996 Chevy Suburban Sub amp: A fifth really big amp Subwoofer: 2-15" DC Level 4 XL Batts: C&D high rate--(x4)

I wish you all the luck, and there better be a build log There definitely will be a build log. I've already found a bag kit for my car that will hold the weight of the planned setup. I am a little worried about the chassis though. Money and equipment won't be a problem once I get back home. I don't expect the build to happen over night so if it takes a few months to get there, that's fine with me. I've seen many instances of bass devastating vehicles. My MOJO wall did a good number on my doors, but it only bassraced a 151 before I tore it out so I'm planning on strengthening everything and rebuilding my doors to fare as well as possible before starting the actual enclosure. I think my biggest problem so far has been trying to make it musical instead of straight numbers so I would build accordingly and not hit what I want. I'm pretty sure if I do hit my goal, it will no longer be a daily driver... We'll see though! Quote Need an install? Hit me up.[email protected]Got car audio questions? CaptainzPlanetz
Alan Dante burped a 180.5 with one DD9918Z with 4 stetsom 7KD's with 15 batterys, of course that is an SPL only vehicle filled with concrete that cant even move under its own power. And if you want a lot of power get the new Stetsom 18k2d's that are coming out soon, I have heard good things about them. Quote ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............
