Used a heat gun and a bowl for the 1st couple tries, but it was hard to hang onto. My spare tire rim on the inside worked the best and stayed hot, the thick sewer pipe took a long time to get soft and was hard to flare past 8" from a 6" start. the white pvc might work better.
