But if you can afford the extra get the HDC they are great subs from what most people say and according to most are almost bulletproof. The 1535s can be had in the $200-dollar range, or somewhere thereabouts. If you can expand the budget a little, I would look at the 1533D Optidrives, which handle 3,000 watts RMS.
