The PowerMate is a grate knob/idea i had one. It's also a good way to keep things clean and simple.

I love car audio so much because I will never be done. I can never win, and I will never get it finished or perfect. It always has me coming back for more, I can never get my fill of it, but I get what I need.

ya, i am back to using the single Din deck again - i keep changing my mind :D After spending 12hrs working, i took my shower and was out in the freezing garage hooking the Pioneer up i bought last week just to see if its any good. It looks pretty cool and i do need Sub-out anyway, so i will probably put it in today.

Its not orange peel its SEM texture coat to match the OEM plastic. It needs a little work but nothing that can be seen on photo.....i scratched it by turning it too soon and tried to weasle my way out of it with more texture and ended up with a clogged can (shit clogged on me and its still full!!!) So now i cant do anything till monday when my paint supply shop opens. No big deal i wanted to see how it would look and its EASY to take off and re-finish the job at a later time. This gives me time to get everything situated while i wait for monday to get here.

looks like texture coat

Stephen FTW :D then again i thought it was pretty obvious - lol

BTW: the Mac Mini is surrounded by FOAM - only time will tell if it can stand up to my system or not. If it cant i will have to get a SS HD or something...........so i dont need anyone to tell me that, i ALREADY KNOW. Like i said, time will tell if i need to go that route or not...

I wasn't gonna say a damn thing :pardon: . An SSD would not only make your total pc/mac system much more responsive, but will last longer in your environment......... but once again, im not saying a thing...

I love my staffie :good:

So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny

also, its not NEARLY that shiny in person, its a fresh paintjob and i had a flashlight on it to get pics so it reflected a little more in the pics then wat you see with your eyeballs in real life.

its plenty responsive. Its one and only job is to play MP3's. How responsive does it need to be? As long as it survives, its a done deal.

Hey Steve, if you don't mind my asking, how big of a screen do you think you could fit in that dash? Possibly 15.6"? I have an idea for my truck, and would like to know.

My comp setup (Not bad for what it is):

HP Compaq Presario V6120US laptop with:

15.4" widescreen

AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHz processor

2x1GB stick DDR2 SDRAM (667 Mhz)

Seagate Momentus 500GB SATA HDD

128MB shared video memory

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

12 cell Lithium Ion battery (actual battery usage time: 6 hours)

What it does:

On a USB 2.0 Wireless card

probably not that much bigger unless you are trying to get super crazy on the fiberglass. Dont forget this thing has a frame around it so it looks smaller when molded in but the frame is still there.

I would say a 12 would probably be about the limit before the degree of difficulty starts to go up a little higher. I would have done a 12 but i couldnt find a 12" touchscreen with front buttons. I think i found one with side buttons (its been a while i think it was a 12).
