Derrick824
I'm also wondering if a T20001bd can handle a .7 ohm load. x2 on the above. RFs will handle 0.7ohms. Hifonics BXI2006D. The only good thing about it is the price. But its the weakest of the group.
sean 371
I believe the Kicker's have a fuse rating of 150 (300 total). I think a T20001bd has one of 200 or 250. So if you only looked at that, the Rockford would be less of an electrical load. You'll still need upgrades though. I only have 200 amps of current draw and I can't push my subs as loud as I could without bad voltage drops. j_black10
Actually, the Kicker's fuse rating is 100amps (200 total) and the T20001bd is 250amps. I just got a 200amp alternator and I've also done the big 3, which helped ALOT. Now my voltage stays around 14.4v and doesn't drop below 13.9v when I really get to cranking it. But that's with the Brutus though. I'm going to add another redtop and that should be enough for either setup, the 2 zx1000.1s or the T20001bd. Now I just gotta make my mind up. Is there any more suggestions? Quote AudioControlRockford FosgateXSPower
andym85
my buddy's hifonics 1206d is kinda touchy with a .7 load, not real impressed with it, but it gets the job done. i would go RF! Quote i likes me some audio stuff...

j_black10
How do you like that brutus? It's been Great!!! I don't have anything negative to say about it. It's just not enough power for the Qs. I know people say that Hifonics is overated but this bx1500d pushes these Qs pretty damn good, so I think it actually puts out the 1500 wrms it says it does. That's why I'm considering getting the BXi2006D. I do know this, a RF amp puts out a better quality sound than a Hifonics amp does. I've never owned a kicker amp but my homeboy did, a sx1250 on 2 compvr 18s, and that shit sounded awesome!!! Slinky
im about 80 percent sure the kickers would take that load. I'd choose those over some PA3000DB's which I was thinking about, but the hifonics amps are good down to 35hz. Plenty of people run them, and if you don't have a lot of cash to work with, they aren't overrated. sean 371
^^ and most music doesn't play below 40, so that'd work. And yea kicker and RF both put out real clean watts. Definately get a couple extra batteries. j_black10
I think I'm going to get the 2 kx1000.1s. Overall I think it's the best route. I can get them for $550 shipped. Plus I already got a buy for my bx1500d. Quote AudioControlRockford FosgateXSPower
