Well I had a single 12" DC lvl 4 XL in a tine running on a RF T1k. Now I have two 12" DC lvl 4 XL running on a DC PAI3K. New box is custom built, tuned to 33hz. 2.76³ ft per chamber With 2.44³ ft after displacement. Here is some pics..... I didn't have much mdf nor $$$ so i recycled an older box for the cause lol.

I use chrome hex head screws and t nuts to hold my subs in nice and tight.

Made a 1/2 way decent faceplate ... It completely seals the box from the trunk while still being somewhat removable lol. Its made of foam , mdf and roll on truck bed liner. My rubber surrounds got some foam on them so they look like ass now unfortunately. Ill get some new ones eventually. I'm also thinking the red section might look better as silver.

Here is my amps in the trunk. DC PAI3000.1 for the subs and RF 400.4 for the mids/highs.

Notice the single run of 4ga.. lol yeah not enough power. Need to upgrade to some 0ga or some 00ga. But for now I recently found some 4ga laying around in my basement so i put it to use. Ran 3 runs of 4ga from the battery up front to a distribution block in the back. I got a 5 foot piece of 0ga running from the distribution block to the DC PAI3000.1 IMHO its hella lot better/louder... seems like its getting its power now.

This is a video I made b4 I added the 2 other runs of 4ga and 5 foot of 0ga. So its under powered. I'll post some new videos tomorrow tho (Give it time to process)

Will do, for now tho 3 runs of 4ga should be ok. Basicly like putting a bit larger than 0ga in. Need to get a battery for the back as well... all in good time I suppose lol.

That's a beefy ass box, nice ass subs and nice ass amp. How did you make the faceplate?

I used a jig saw lol....Basically it is sitting/attached to the front of the box. Foam was used to seal cracks and air leaks then I painted it all with Dupli-Color bed liner.

I love it, it treats me good. No problems as of yet :P

that opening in the box is smaller than the port itself. that's bottlenecking the port. i'd open that up (if you can now) to the same size as the port so it wont hinder performance

lol, yeah i noticed that myself when I took the pic... I put it on the inside insead of the outside of the wall... I took it apart and fixed it, kinda why there isn't any in between pictures lol.
