Ben Building
Here is an interesting site I found on an unrelated search that details the theory behind the different enclosure types. http://www.danmarx.org/audioinnovation/theories.html I actually designed my enclosure for my 12s based on the EBS (extended bass shelf) alignment and it sounds incredible. Heads up to those on a bandpass or passive radiatior bend. The passive radiator enclosure acts just like a ported box, but with no long ports to eat up space or make port noise. I know; that's wild, right? What if they had patented all the types of enclosures before anyone else got around to doing it?
