Not exactly- It's not a "PORT" per se. I've been over this about 10 times now. It's not tuned-just more "open area" to allow air to flow into the car. It may incidently reinforce certain frequencies (hopefully the 35-50hz range but it's not intended to do so) IT'S NOT A PORT! THIS AINT A BANDPASS. Ever see a bandpass with one side COMPLETELY OPEN? Sealed box, inside another enclosure to keep from pressurizing the trunk. READ^^^^^^^^^^^^.
