dleccord
Please stop saying that type r's can handle twice their rated power. Completely untrue. But civichatch good choice, type r's are great subs. It'll pound real hard. i had my 12' for 6 months before i sold it. i had it on a directed 1500d at 1ohm. that's somewhere 1100-1200 watts. didnt break down on me. only got stinky when i had the bass boost on, even then, i was clipping the sub pretty bad. also, the 10" type r handled the 1500d pretty well at the same ohm load. im not saying they're severely underrated and that they're taking a continuously 1200watts. im saying they're pretty tough subs and in a good box, they'll handle some power. also didn't tommy k did a 49 on music with his 15 type r with a kicker zx2500.1? BassHead7
i hate type R's. ive personally heard two 15" Punch P2's compaired to Two 15" Type R's . P2s blew em out the water and sounded way better. i just dont like how the Type R;s hit. they sound Flimsy. idk. shoulda went with sum p2s tho for prolly the same price or cheaper.
