Amp(s) for a pair of LVL 5 12s

SounDigital 8000.1 without question.

1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... QX56 is staying stock til I get loud... It's only getting walled off if I don't meet my goal @ SBN.

Pioneer AVIC-N2

(12) 12" RE SXs old model.... (3) AB VFL 500.1 @ 1ohm each

Dual 300amp Ohio Gen alts.... (10) Northstar NSB-125s

26ft3 @ 33hz w/ a ton of port area

156.5 @ 40hz @ dash, Db Drag style / 153.2 Bassrace

Def. considering either DC or Iraggi for the alt, he's not afraid to spend his money where it counts. He just wants to make sure he's getting quality which i reassure him all the time he will be, any other opinions on amp selection?

SounDigital 8000.1... IMO there isn't a single better amp in that power range made regardless of price. Plus they have a small footprint to boot.

For the alt, look into Ohio Gen also.

arc audio se 4000

RF T4000

both make plenty power for those subs and are great amps i prefer the arc over the RF but thats just me, plus for beating down the block in the correct box either is plenty of power.

For daily 4000+wrms per sub is a bit much imo....I say 2-3k per sub is more suited. No doubt they can take more but why? He isn't out for numbers and with lower power the subs will have a longer life.
