I didn't hear the coil bottoming.... HCCA are a long throw woofer similar to the XXX in excursion so it very well might not have unloaded.

lowest is 16hz in the original, almost no amp will produce anything below 10hz, most its 20hz

sub is not unloading , sounds like its slammin

the way hat sub is flapping in the breeze it def looks like it's way outside it's tunning freq. for sure! guy should have had his SSF turned on for sure

Playing below tuning and unloading are two completely different things....I play music well below my tuing freq. but do my subs unload no....do I have a ssf turned on...no....

can you explain "unloading" for me? i always thought it was when you play below your tuning freq. and your sub just goes nuts like that one did.
