ok so I have my battery under the hood and I'm waiting for my kinetik and alternator to come in so I can get this going, I need to know if a battery isolator is needed or if I can just wire the batteries parelell? (sure I spelled that wrong) any help would be great.

If you run your system with the car off, then yes use an isolator. As long as you're running the car, no need for one. Just wire em in parallel.

an isolator is not mandatory but if money isnt a deal then get one.
