audiofanaticz
No to both your questions with single 4 ohm and single 8 ohm coils. If you want to run your amp at 2 ohms with a single 4ohm voice coil sub, you will need two subs. If you want to run your amp at 2 ohms with a single 8 ohm voice coil sub, you will need four subs. lovellsz
if you get the 4ohm versions yes it would take 4 of them to get to 1ohm. RF has a thing under the support tab thats a woofer wiring wizard to help with how to hook it up and the different ohms and subs. I always found it helpful Quote RF Punch 40x2RF Punch 100x2RF Punch 200x2RF Punch 200x2RF Punch 400x4JL Audio 10W7-3"but its only a 200 watt amp tho"
Slinky
you cant wire a single 4 ohm sub to 1 ohm. its 4 ohm and you cant change that. you would need 4 subs in parallel to get to 1 ohm Quote DD M4 Rockford Fosgate P500-4 SoundQubed HDC415 w carbon fiber cap 2 Rockford Fosagate T1675-S XS Power D3400 Under Hood XS Power D5100 in rear Michael Singer 200A Alt Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/153901-2012-veloster-update-842013-wall-build-4-15s/
ChevyBoy
no offense, but how hard is that to figure out. a $1 bill cant be changed into $2. you would need 2 $1 bills. a 4 ohm sub cant be changed into 2 ohm. you would need 2 4 ohm subs. its really not that hard people. ive seen this question asked WAY TOO MAY TIMES!!!
