tripleb45
In a strange turn of events I am stuck with a 18" Fi BTL newer style sub that is "fully loaded" and "D2". This is the problem How can I fix it. The tech said it looked and felt like it was going to fall off and I agree it looked like a strong wind would knock it over, but I need this fixed or is a recone the only way. For some reason this affects the sound and makes it play at normal volume and then nothing. Please help like I said we know what happened, but I don't want any drama just a solution. This is what it should look like: Please help. No bashing.
AI James
are they snapped under the glue or are they still together just the nasty glue on them? honestly id just buy new terminals and replace them.
FI50
I think that if you just take all the goop off and re-soder the terminals you should be fine. Good luck man thats a nice sub. The whole thing wiggles and this glue is fukin sloppy. I will attempt to do that. I think that if you just take all the goop off and re-soder the terminals you should be fine. Good luck man thats a nice sub. Thanks man I think the sub has been disrespected by this sloppy work. x2 do that clean glue off and re solder will attempt maybe tomorrow. Shyne151
Truthfully it's an easy fix if you can get the glue off... just resolder the lead back on, same thing you would do if you did a recone.
