A botched up ring/pinion install by a "friend" caused the rear end to lock up at a speed I should have never been doing on the street to begin with. Done some serious damage to my knee, shoulder, and left arm, but I can still walk and have almost all the function back in them. Well you're alive and thats what counts! I actually wrecked at the track 2 years ago, they thought I would never walk again. 2 weeks in a medically induced coma, fractured L3, L4 vertebra, broken collar bone, broken wrist, shattered elbow. I had 4 surgeries on my back, 2 on my elbow, and 4 months of physicall therapy before I could leave the hospital! I wrecked in the mustang pictured above (teal one), my friends went and rebuilt the car without me knowing, and gave it to me the day the doctors cleared me to work again 15 months after the accident! I went out that same weekend and ran an 8.62 et @ 162mph on the brakes and pulling the chute @ 1000ft! My 466ci Fox ran 9.90's on spray and that was faster than I ever care to go again. Audio-Concepts Posted June 24, 2011 Report Share Posted June 24, 2011 Yeah my first pass this year I had a .95 60ft, 4.78 1/8th, and was about 100-150ft passed the 1/8th, tires broke loose in the boost and sent me into the other lane! Im hoping this weekend I can get the car down the track, looking for the elusive 7 sec pass!
