theabunai
Just like DEI snake pits workshop... We offer soldering at our shop but as someone mentioned it comes at a premium price.. if so we would do only 2 remote starts a day (since most cars we do need immobilizer bypass).. The only drawbacks of soldering is if they remove the alarm for whatever reason and a few solders i seen by some of the less experience guys tends to loosen up from vibrations or moving the wire too much... clean work i am a stickler for clean work... when i check over the younger guys work i get on them for wires running all over the place... clean work then i like to show the customer even though you won't wee the wires under the dash this is the type of meticulous work we do here... huh?do-what?
I agree. Soldering is a total waste of time and is only for shmucks. Thats why the power wires in amps and headunits are taped to the circuit board, right? God damn its hot today. My balls are stuck to my leg.
