EricR Posted December 20, 2009 Author Report Posted December 20, 2009 all wiring ripped out will only be using a few pieces for the batts to the amp all the rest is hpm. got about half of the wall ripped out. when i built it i was NOT thinking about having to rip it out and i screwed and glued pieces on top of pieces which are screwed to my back deck in about 4 places so its a real pain in the ass :mad: :mad: i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

EricR Posted December 20, 2009 Author Report Posted December 20, 2009 why are u getting rid of the wall? too much trouble, and it really killed my mpg's. went from 22 mpg to 15 from all the weight. so i will be going from about 700 lbs to roughly 400 lbs in the trunk plus i want my back seat back and the room of not feeling all cramped. i may be getting a truck sometime next year so thats when the cone area will take place. i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
EricR Posted December 21, 2009 Author Report Posted December 21, 2009 well it appears i don't know how to build a wall right...after i got the front baffle off the bottom and back just slid off like butter on a baked potatoe. all the screws were broke lol. btl's did some work for me. man that was alot easier than i thought it was going to be. going to the car wash to wash her up and vaccum all the inside, then back to install everything : i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
