J00bles
How does this Stinger rate @ 3.75 foothttp://www.darvex.com/SPW10TR/Stinger+0+Ga...Power+Wire.html When compared to the knukonceptz flex wire and the other stuff??? I was considering ordering some for a new system... Not really sold on any one brand; as long as I know its good stuff... The only reason I was going to go with Stinger vs knu or something else is that I've used it before and I was going to order several other things from Darvex and wanted to get it all in one shot if possible... well that stinger wire 4214 strands, compared to the KNU's 5145 strands in their fleks wire. ALSO, its only $3.40 per foot directly from Knukonceptz's website. but to be honest with you, you'd be fine using the stinger wire. 8 DC Level 4 M2 15s2 DC Audio 5ks26^2 clamshell tuned to 30hz9 Kinetik 1400sMechman externally reg'd 340 S seriesin a 99 Jeep Cherokee Click to see J00bles' Youtube Channel
n8ball2013
i think of it this way. stinger tsunami etc are all true 1/0 gauge. The Knu wire you are getting is actually slightly oversized. Guest Scylloga
WOWwhats the price of it per foot? where can i haz it? looks to be a pretty high strand count for a 1/0 wire. awesome find! Most welding supply stores should carry it. Being as it is welding cable its what they call "soft" drawn copper. Which means its a High strand count "stretched" wire. I would like to see the car audio wire compared to commercial/residential 1/0 wire. As for being flexible....I think no matter what any of the wires pictured above will be 300% more flexible than the ac 1/0.

I bought black from them also in the std 1/0 size. The orange flex is definitely larger. Hard to fit a 1/0 ring terminal over it. Good flexibility but not to the extreme like Shok cable. R_Mac_1
Yeah I have the black 1/0 from welding supply and 1/0 ring terminals fit over it quite easily with space to spare. So I'm thinking it's a tad smaller than most 1/0 wire. I wonder why the orange would be thicker? 2002 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi Pioneer DEH-P6000UB Alpine SPX-17REF 6.5" components (active) Sundown SAX-50.4 Sundown z15 (3 cubes @ 35 hz) Sundown SAX-1200D 2006 Buick Rainier CXL AWD V8 Stock Bose system 12" Alpine Type E in aeroported box Profile AP1000M
